Target Audience

The proposed book will merit a place in both academia and the wider market. Academic historians will respect the author’s commitment to give primacy to original documents over secondary, or tertiary, interpretations of the past. Bilingual sources, furthermore, will make the book competitive with doctoral standards of historical scholarship.

If the author’s vision is delivered to his own standards, the final product will find a market among non-specialists who enjoy a story well told. In light of current events in the United States, this book may also be a welcome antidote to those fatigued by race-based orthodoxies including, but not limited to, Critical Race Theory.
